Saturday 24 March - Sampford Brett's version of the Antiques Roadshow. £1.00 fee for valuations. 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
Saturday 21 April - St. George's Day entertainment, including eating, listening and singing all things English. 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
Monday 21 May - Olympic Torch Relay. Meeting in the field at Crossways, courtesy of the owner, a social gathering to watch the torch pass along the A358. Times tbc.
Saturday 2 June - Village Fete with a Jubilee theme, including a display of memorabilia from 1952 and a 'make your own crown competition'. All the usual stalls. Street party to follow. The fete starts at 10.30am.
Saturday 21 July - Champagne tasting. The next in the popular and successful series of tastings. This time champagne with smoked salmon and strawberries. In the Village Hall starting at 7.30pm.
Saturday 4 August - Sampford's own (indoor) Olympic Games in the Village Hall from 2.00pm.
Saturday 15 September - Village Sale - stalls all around the village on drives, with refreshments available in the Village Hall. Brochures and map of the village available for purchase. 10 to 3.
