Village activities

This section contains information on activities taking place in the village.

2012

Saturday 25 February - Annual Quiz Night in the Village Hall, starting at 7.30pm.  Nibbles provided, bring your own drink.

Saturday 24 March - Sampford brett's own Antique Roadshow.  Small fee for valuations.

Saturday 21 April - St. George's evening.  Food, singing and entertainment. 7.30pm.

Monday 21 May - Watch the Olympic Torch pass on the A358.  Meeting in the field at Crossways, courtesy of  the owner.  Informal gathering and socialising.

Saturday 2 June - Village Fete with a Jubilee theme including memorabilia from 1952.

Saturday 21 July - Champagne tasting.  A further experience following the previous highly successful tasting experiences.  This one will include smoked salmon and strawberries.  7.30pm  in the Village Hall.

Saturday 4 August - Sampford Olympics.  Indoor games in the Village Hall, starting at 2.00pm.

Saturday 15 September - Village Sale - 10 - 2. Lots of stalls all round the village, refreshments in the Village Hall.  A brochure/map will be available for purchase.
