- Sampford Brett Folk Dance Group meet on alternate Tuesdays in the Village hall from 7.00pm to 9.00pm from October until April
- The Group was formed on 10 October 1992. The majority of those attending had never even heard of English folk dancing, acquainting it only with Morris or Maypole dancing.
- We now do dances originating from the 16th century (known as Playford) as well as dances that one would meet at a Barn Dance
- Beginners are always welcome (we always walk through new dances a couple of times first) to a very friendly, informal group whose object is enjoyment.
